In April I was supposed to take the official schoo In April I was supposed to take the official school photos for a local preschool. But in March when the governor announced that schools would be closed for the rest of the academic year, the pictures were in jeopardy. But after a lot of waiting, hard work, and coordination, I was able to make it happen last month in a safe, socially distanced way. ******* I used my son Gideon as my light and location tester, scouting out various spots around the outside of the preschool building. This brick wall didn’t work for the school photos because I would have been too close to the kiddos, but I love this shot of G. He was wearing his beloved Batman mask made by the outstanding administrative assistant at his preschool. Since G is a fierce fan of Batman, having a mask he loves has made it so much easier for him to wear it when necessary (and yes, he wears it over his nose). I also offered school kids the opportunity to get a bonus photo taken with their masks. Kittens Time for more kitten photos! These girls Kittens Time for more kitten photos! These girls have been so much fun. They gradually warmed up to Waffles (dog) although they aren’t as fond of her yet as she is of them. But I’m confident she will eventually convince them to chase her around the house! We are getting used to them getting into everything and creating toys out of the strangest things.
